Course Breakdown

A picturesque opening hole, Hole 1 at Cloverbank greets players with a hard working Par 4. A well-placed drive in the fairway sets up a mid to short iron approach into a gently elevated, bunker protected green. Club selection is critical on your second shot, as the putting surface is slightly deeper than it appears from the fairway.

A true test early in the round, Hole 2 plays slightly uphill and demands accuracy off the tee. A small creek 10 yards right of the fairway could cause big numbers if the tee shot leaks toward it. The landing area narrows, and the green is well-protected with subtle breaks that challenge even the steadiest putting stroke.

A long par 3 that demands a well-struck tee shot. The green is deep and receptive but flanked by bunkers on either side. Precision is more important than power here, especially when the pin is tucked in the corners.

Hole 4 is a straightforward par 4 that rewards smart play. A fairway wood or long iron off the tee can keep you short of trouble, setting up a wedge into a fairly flat green. Wind exposure can influence both shots.

The longest and most difficult hole on the course, Hole 5 is a true three-shot par 5 for most players. A generous fairway allows you to swing freely, but precision is key on the layup and approach. Beware of OB long on the 2nd shot and special drop zones around the green.

This par 3 features a narrow green protected by bunkers and subtle undulation. Misses short or right can still recover; left brings higher numbers into play.

A slight dogleg right with a narrow tee shot window. A solid drive rewards players with a simple approach into a moderately sized green. A steep back to front sloping green makes club choice imperative on the approach. 

A reachable par 5 for longer hitters, Hole 8, a sharp dog leg left,  offers a risk-reward opportunity. The fairway slopes from left to right and the green is well-protected.

A strong closing hole for the front nine. Slightly downhill, with a tight approach guarded by bunkers. The green has subtle breaks and a false front.

A challenging par 4 to start the back nine. The hole bends to the left with thick trees scattering the left rough.  Slightly uphill with a blind landing zone and elevated green. A rare front to back sloping green penalizes approaches left short 

Hole 11 demands a well struck mid to long iron to reach the green over a large pond. The green is large but challenging. Tee shots leaked to the right will have to contend with a large greenside bunker. To the left, a smaller pot bunker. 

A shorter, straight par 4 that entices aggressive play. Heavy trees line the right rough, with a large heather area punishing long tee shots to the left. The smaller green is perched and heavily bunkered. 

A fairway that slopes right to left and a green that’s deceptively tricky. Avoid the left rough to set up your best chance at par or birdie.

A scoreable par 5 for big hitters. The hole favors right to left ball shaping. Nearing the green, the approach narrows with heather looming right. 

Our signature hole! A picturesque, downhill par 3 with a shallow green and bunkers front left and right. Distance control is vital. 

One of the most scenic and challenging holes on the course. Reachable in two for longer hitters when the wind cooperates.  Heather and OB frame a multi-tiered fairway.

A tight driving hole requiring control. The green is narrow and sits at an angle. Putts tend to move to the right side of the green, toward Lake Erie. 

The dramatic finishing hole has an elevated tee box, fairway sloping right to left and a well-contoured green. Ideal for settling matches.
